SelfPay Staff gives retail associates the ability to verify SelfPay self-checkout transactions before shoppers leave the store via a patented purchase verification method.

VERIFY SHOPPER-LED IN-STORE PURCHASES

SelfPay Staff verifies in-store purchases made with our consumer app, SelfPay. Associates use SelfPay Staff to scan a shopper’s digital receipt in order to instantly view shopper transaction details including their name, images of items purchased, and the time/date of the transaction on associates mobile device. Associates mark the purchase as verified, and the shopper is on their way – items in hand. If the receipt was previously used and verified, if the receipt was generated more than 60 minutes ago, or if the receipt was not a valid receipt, the associate would see a red warning message immediately on their mobile device giving them feedback there was an issue. SelfPay Staff’s patented loss prevention features help ensure that items do not leave the store without first being purchased and verified.

PROCESS SELF-CHECKOUT REFUNDS AND RETURNS

SelfPay Staff offers a refund flow which allows for full, partial and multiple refunds to be processed for SelfPay purchases made using a credit card in SelfPay Wallet. Store associates simply modify the purchase record directly on the store POS and then use SelfPay Staff to process the financial refund. SelfPay Staff includes a convenient history function to display complete refund and payment history related to the shopper’s purchase and built-in security features to ensure that the refund amounts processed do not exceed the purchase total and that refunds are sent to the shopper’s original payment method.

FREE ASSOCIATES FROM THE CASH REGISTER

SelfPay Staff works in combination with SelfPay to help reduce checkout lines. As shoppers pay for goods on their devices, your associates are free to move around and interact with shoppers to sell more and verify purchases. It’s smart labor, for a smart and demanding shopper generation.
